BpAI will combine lectures with group work. Students will work in teams to collaborate on an application project, and will illustrate their results during the last day of the School.

In particular, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Datathon, i.e. to work first-hand with Machine Learning techniques on the analysis of data from biophotonic devices or traditional analyses, followed and supported by the  teachers of the School.

The School aims to explore the applications of AI in the field of biophotonics. We expect a substantial impact of the School in terms of cross-fertilization among the different topics and sharing of knowledge between speakers and participants.
